A few years ago I ended up sat in front of a nutritionalist out of desperation to help myself feel better. My blood sugar levels were out of control and my life was constantly peaks and troughs of sugar crashes feeling drained and shaky and getting very snappy and stressed – just like the Snickers ‘You’re a right diva when you’re hungry’ adverts. I was drinking too much every day, smoking and snacking on refined carbs and sugar products. All this had to go. Immediately.
It was a huge shock to the system and out of everything I found sugar the hardest to quit. Sugar is in everything and much more addictive than you can possibly imagine. The pay back was that after about 2 months I felt better than I ever have done in my life. I lost nearly a stone in weight without trying and my sugar crashes had gone. I had consistent energy all day and for the first time in my life felt really well. Once you realise how well you can feel you never go back.
Bad eating habits are rife in society and I am amazed as to the levels of junk people do eat. My belief is that obesity and ill health can be easily remedied by educating people to eat healthy. You get out of your body what you put in so why fill it with junk?
A Fruitful Workplace infographic addresses this very problem with a focus on the cost on productivity that eating related problems causes. The infographic also educates on how you can encourage employees to adopt a healthier eating lifestyle at work.
The design uses retro style design elements in the typography and icons. Crisp and clear with a snappy colour palette. The infographic offers a story of information down the page of what the problem is, how it effects employees and then how it can be resolved. Comprehensive information.
